About Bistrolino

Hi, Nice to meet you!

Think of your favorite neighborhood bistro. That’s our goal. Our dishes are a mix of

Italian and Lebanese flavors meant to be shared with people you like and who care

about you. We have a tiny kitchen and we use the best ingredients that we can get our

hands on. And let’s talk about the Wine List. Wines from Lebanon (yes, Lebanon) and

Italy that are eclectic and reasonably priced-especially during Happy Hour when all

bottles are priced at Retail State Minimum.

About us

Sam Chedid

Sam Chedid was raised in Lebanon but born in Philadelphia where  he became another member in the legion of angry, tormented  Philadelphia Eagles Fans. After graduating with an MBA from The  Ohio State University he realized that sitting at a desk pouring over  spread sheets wasn’t for him. While opening a restaurant during  Covid has been a challenge, Sam has never wavered in his  commitment to bringing the food he grew up with to Columbus.

Francesco Todisco

When Francesco Todisco opened Bistrolino with his partner Sam he wanted to recreate the experience of the neighborhood bistros of New York. Small, friendly places that served simple food with good ingredients.

“I got tired of working for people so we opened a restaurant to give ourselves a job” he says. And if things go well, Francesco will finally be able to get that black Vespa with the brown leather seat that his father wouldn’t buy for him back in Italy.

Jalen

Jalen worked in various roadside zoos throughout Europe before moving to the U.S. and entering the hospitality industry. His passion, energy and confidence are evident in everything he does and his unmatched palate for bourbon and honey are a welcome

addition to the Bistrolino Family.
